Procurement Specialist

Description

As a Procurement Specialist you will be the responsible for the procurement activities for international engineering projects, participating in the procurement strategies definition, building and maintaining positive relationships with suppliers and coordinating with other teams regarding their supply needs. You will work in a multicultural environment for projects related to Software for Autonomous Driving and will report directly to the Purchasing Manager.

Your Tasks:

  • Developing and implementing purchasing global strategies.
  • In charge of the purchasing needs for the different Business Units.
  • Support with the identification of potential suppliers and manage of the current ones.
  • Negotiation of contractual terms and conditions, prices, timelines, etc.
  • Improving procurement processes quality by collaborating with other stakeholders.
  • Obtaining benefits such as reduced prices or commercial rebates.
  • Compliance adherence by maintaining suppliers’ database, purchase records, and related documentation.

Your profile:

  • University degree in Administration or similar.
  • Up to 4 years of experience with alike tasks in software companies, or similar.
  • Knowledge in licenses and purchases related with computer, software and hardware related equipment.
  • Advance English level (mandatory) and German (plus).
  • Ability to establish and maintain good rapport with different partners and stakeholders. Negotiation, problem-solving and good communication skills.
