IT Security Specialist

In this role you will be responsible for managing all information security issues within the company and help to safeguard the organization’s IT Systems. This can include implementing policies and procedures, overseeing the implementation of IT systems as well as risk management security documentation and reporting. 

Your tasks:

• Introduction, development and review of IT security processes as well as specific documentation
• Management and participation in IT Security projects, perform pre and post acquisition assessments.
• Perform risk, vulnerability, and threat assessments
• Coordinate security risk management activities and monitor threat landscape
• Conduct and coordinate security audits within the company
• Planning, coordination and consulting to ensure IT security throughout the company
• Implementation of technical measures for the continuous improvement of IT security
• Perform internal security trainings
• Security Reporting

Your profile:

• Master in Information security management, equal academic education or professional certification
• Proven experience in the field of information security
• Experience designing secure networks, systems and application architectures
• An analytical mind with excellent problem-solving ability
• Skills to moderate risk assessment processes
• Independent, structured way of working
• Experiences with centralized logging (e. g. B. Splunk) and penetration testing of advantage
• Knowledge of relevant security management frameworks (ISO 27001 / TISAX)
• Knowledge of basic audit management concepts / frameworks
• Knowledge of basic project management methods
• Knowledge of risk management concepts & methods
• Knowledge of common IT-Service management & governance frameworks (ISO 20000 / ITIL / COBIT)
• Knowledge of GDPR and national data protection laws advantageous
• Good knowledge of English, knowledge of Spanish would be an additional advantage
