About us

What we do

TTTech Auto Iberia provides solutions for the challenges of future vehicle generations. The company specializes in safe software and hardware platforms for automated driving and beyond, applicable in series production programs.

With our leading technology solutions, we ensure safety and electronic robustness for a more automated world, currently automated driving level 3 but working to achieve level 4 and 5.

TTTech Auto Iberia know-how is in SW development and proven solutions for automated driving, operating under the umbrella of the TTTech Auto Company (TTTech Group).

Automotive technology is changing day by day. Autonomous driving is a reality and currently automated driving level 3 is offered in various new vehicles. We integrate and configure C-embedded software running on AUTOSAR for autonomous driving platform.

For that, we cover several processes of the Software Life cycle such as the requirements analysis, the design of the architecture of the system, the modelling of the software, the configuration of the basic software and drivers, the programming and debugging activities and the software components test.

Timeline

2020

TTTech Auto Iberia opens a new office in Madrid, Spain.

2019

TTTech Auto (company which operates under the umbrella of the TTTech Group and was set up as an independent company in 2018) acquires Silicon Gears SL. One of the main projects was the development and delivery of a safe and secure platform software for the HCP1 ECU. This was targeted as the main chassis and powertrain ECU in the HCPx family based on the E3 architecture.

2018

Silicon Gears SL. opens its second office in Barcelona. One of the main projects was the centralization into a single board, the increasing number of ECU in the car. The central unit enabled a variety of systems in the car: from the infotainment system to high-level and safe-critical functionalities for autonomous driving.

2017

Silicon Gears SL. opens its first office in Barcelona. One of the main projects was within the Network ECU team, where we developed a high performance gateway with 10 CAN channels and 7 Ethernet channels.

2016

Silicon Gears SL. was created by Xavier Tisaire and established in Barcelona, Spain, as TTTech Group SW development partner. A team of 4 started to work from Vienna.

Our team

Francisco - Embedded SW Engineer

We produce embedded software for Automotive ECUs that connects all other processing units in the vehicle. One day I analyse a network trace in Wireshark; another moment I’m implementing a RSA2048 secure algorithm for distributed flashing. On good days I type 100 lines of embedded-C code using Eclipse; on bad days I spend hours debugging code with the T32/ Lauterbach. My colleagues might be designing a wake-up mechanism for a Watch-Dog. Others run performance tests on multi-core AURIX processors. And always keeping the passion for what we do. At the end of each day, I’m proud that I create ways to improve the life of drivers, pedestrians, and the environment.

Gerard - System Architect

We help our clients to design solutions for their automotive products. Our tools are whiteboards, diagrams and our communication skills.

Good days, we spend them designing systems, architecting software solutions, catching up with clients and suppliers, or reading about technology. Good days are awesome.

Bad days, we spend many hours in non-technical meetings, managing unexpected change requests, or waiting for delayed flights. Bad days are like watching paint dry.

What I like about my job is the thrill of the challenge, because you never get asked to solve the same problem twice, and no two architects in TTTech Auto Iberia are doing even remotely similar things, so every project is a chance to explore new territory.

Asterios - Scrum Master

As a Scrum Master I try to balance the Business with the Team needs in order to satisfy the client & at the same time leverage the engineers’ quality of time in the office. Along with the above, I am responsible for Agile coaching within the company.

Since we are working within the Scaled Agile framework, some of our tasks include Planning, Reviewing & Retrospective on the train and on the team level, as well as frequent sync meetings.

Asterios was recently promoted to Product Owner.

Oriol - Cybersecurity Tech Lead

We take care of the cybersecurity of automotive ECUs. It involves from carrying out Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment to the integration of the devised cybersecurity mechanisms.

My daily work is quite diverse. One day, I am analyzing high- level customer requirements to assess its feasibility. Another day, I am studying how to leverage the capabilities of a cryptographic library or an HSM.

Working on Automotive Cybersecurity is a challenging yet rewarding job.
